CAI President Receives Global Trade Award

Corona, California, December 10, 2020 --  Combustions Associate, Inc. (CAI) co-founder and President Ms. Kusum Kavia was honored with the Innovative Sustainable Exporter of the Year award presented by the Los Angeles chapter of Women in International Trade (WIT-LA).

Ms. Kavia received the award at WIT-LA’s 8th Annual Global Trade Awards held virtually this year on December 10, 2020. She was recognized as the entrepreneurial spirit behind CAI’s success and lauded as a dynamic leader instrumental in building the Company from a humble start-up to a model export-centric, woman-owned, minority business with a stellar reputation. Several awards were presented to women leaders for their exceptional and unique contribution to their community and the international business world.

Among other event highlights were keynote address by Ms. Ana M Guevara, Deputy Assistant Secretary for U.S. Field Operations, and Ms. Ingrid Vanderveldt, CEO of Empowering a Billion Women as Special Guest Speaker.
