CAI’s Kusum Kavia Appointed to Two Federal Government Advisory Councils and California Governor’s Entrepreneurship Task Force

Corona, California, USA — Ms. Kusum Kavia, co-founder and president of Corona, California based Combustion Associates Inc. (CAI) has recently been appointed to two federal government advisory councils.

She will serve a two-year term on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Investment Advisory Council (IAC) and a one-year term on the U.S. EXIM Bank’s Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee (SAAC). As a member of the IAC, she will advise the U.S. Secretary of Commerce on how government policies and programs affect the United States’ ability to attract and facilitate business investment.

“The Investment Advisory Council will help us further develop, adapt, and expand policies to help U.S. and international firms recognize there is no better place to do business, grow, succeed, and create jobs.” Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said in a formal press release announcing the names of the 25-member newly appointed council earlier this month.
