Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to provide engineering support to the to the ongoing RFQs/projects. The Project Engineer is a hybrid position between Sales and Engineering departments which requires excellent communication skills, detail oriented as well as knowledge of the engineering and existing codes and standards.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from suppliers.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
  • Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.
  • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering supplier contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains project data base by following CAI record keeping procedure and policies.
  • Maintains product and company reputation.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Nature & Scope:

  • Report to the VP of Engineering and Operations
  • 10-15% travel: Domestic.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or other related discipline required
  • 5+ years of project experience working in the Power Generation industry required
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Experience with manufacturing facilities preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software, MS Project preferred
  • CAD, CAD/CAM circuit design

Junior Accountant / Administrative Assistant

Full time - Primary responsibility to provide basic accounting and administrative services. To work in collaboration with all team members to ensure the effective, accurate and timely recording of all components within the accounting cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

  • Responsible for A/P and A/R functions

Project Manager II

 CAI has a current full-time opening for an individual with exceptional communication, organizational and detail-oriented skills

 Key Responsibilities will Include:

  • Customer Facing key communications role
  • Assume all project management functions
  • Manage project assignments and interface with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and CAI department managers.
  • Work closely with clients and business partners to review, analyze, understand, and define the high level project requirements: objectives, scope, project schedule, budgets, start up, installation, and commissioning.
  • Create and coordinate the development and approval of all project deliverables: specific design documents ie. calculations, drawings, specifications, equipment, Bill of Materials (BOM), instrument lists, reports, O&M Manuals, project close out documentation.
  • Attend and take minutes of weekly project meetings, activities, action items and goals

Required Skills:

Mechanical Engineer

CAI has a current full-time opening for a graduate Mechanical Engineer – preferably with strong fluid mechanics and thermodynamics knowledge. 

Duties will consist of:

  • Review project documents and develop Project Technical Requirements (PTR) and scope of work (SOW).
  • Develop technical design based on project technical specifications, drawings, diagrams, design, calculations, etc.
  • Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) for the various engineering designs to support procurement department.
  • Develop Process Flow Diagram (PFD) for all engineering design projects.
  • Full working knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Works.
  • Plan and execute tasks on time to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage assignments independently and interface with other team members on an on-going basis.

Role Summary/Purpose
In this role, the Sales & Marketing Manager will have ownership of the CAI’s custom designed skid-mounted process and power generation systems. This role is a customer facing staff role responsible for winning business and generating consistent and growing sales.

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will:
• Generate sales leads, prepare proposals, negotiate and close sales orders
• Develop & maintain key customer retention and repeat sales business
• Responsible for business development nationwide
• Interface with client and responsible for providing custom value add solutions to clients
• Maintain rapid standardized quoting capabilities (blanket authorizations)
• Develop & maintain “Go to Markets” strategy for direct sales in targeted Markets
• Develop & maintain tracking of Sales efforts, for further optimization of Sales
• Develop & maintain marketing docs and website update for all CAI products and services
• Develop & maintain list of conferences (a) to attend, and (b) to exhibit
• Develop & maintain marketing strategy to specific Markets (active emails, magazines, SEO, cross-links, ads)

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with high speed rotating equipment in the Energy Distribution, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Gas Compression Industries

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability and willingness to travel 50%, within North America with some international travel, as required

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
