|Power Generator Units||•||Spirit™1 | Qty: 2 units|
CAI installed two units of Spirit™ 1 MW units in a citrus processing plant in Belize for a combined heat and power (CHP) application. This included integrating a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) with the units to capture the turbine exhaust and produce steam at required temperature and quality.
The integrated system generates electricity for the facilities and steam for the process of juice-making. CHP systems provide enhanced efficiency because these dual benefits are acquired through the same quantity of fuel consumption as simple cycle power generation. This greatly reduces operation and maintenance costs while optimizing production.
