Spirit 1 – 1 MW Gas Turbine Power Generation System



Spirit 1 MW power generation system is designed for maximum flexibility and the highest availability of both liquid and gaseous fuels with heat values as low as 450BTU/cu.ft.

This compact, fully contained modular power generation solution offers maximum ease of integration with a wide range of alternative fuel applications. The system uses a proven aero-derivative gas turbine that gives over 40 million hours of operation and is specifically modified for alternative fuel operation.

Its components include turbine, industry proven gearbox, generator and auxiliary systems with state-of-the-art control and monitoring capabilities. The unique combination of hardware in 1 MW power plant results in excellent heat recovery performance of a turbine at a cost that is competitive with conventional reciprocating engine generating systems. Maintenance downtime is minimal.

In addition, the flexibility of the turbine’s combustion system allows it to operate on a variety of liquid and gaseous fuels such as natural gas, diesel oil, propane, and process and waste gases that are normally flared into the atmosphere.

Spirit 1 MW is also well suited for landfill gas applications where there is a use for recoverable heat or where high level of availability is important. Furthermore, Spirit 1 MW can be modified for cogeneration and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) applications. It is ideal for remote installations because of its plug-n-play feature, and it can also operate for longer periods between maintenance activities.

Spirit 1 MW is available both as a skid-mounted system or trailer-mounted package for easy integration into existing and new facilities.

The “Plug-n-Play” packaging enables easy transportation and reduces installation time and costs. Installing multiple smaller units gives added flexibility and higher availability of power during maintenance and overhauls.
